Bisque: Cone 04
Glaze: Cone 10
Technique: Puc on a Potter’s Wheel. Colored slip painted on outside design area. At leather hard, design was carved on bottom area.
Glaze: Carved area was covered with black underglaze. Inside was ladled with St John’s Black and then dipped into Purple Haze, Titanium Blue, and Light Blue for top and handle colors.

Technique: Cup on a Potter’s Wheel. Colored slip painted on outside design area. At leather hard, design was carved over slip area.
Glaze: Carved area was covered with iron oxide wash and then lightly sponged off. Inside was ladled with St John’s Black and then dipped into Shino for top and bottom.
