Glaze: Cone 10
Technique: Vase on a Potter’s Wheel. Colored slip painted on outside design area. At leather hard, design was carved over slip area.
Glaze: Carved area was covered with iron oxide wash and then lightly sponged off. Inside was ladled with St John’s Black and then dipped into Shino for top and bottom.
