Glaze: Cone 10
Technique: Trimmed bowl on potter’s wheel
Glaze: Ladle Charlie D White inside of the bowl, and dip bowls into St John’s Black. Clean off the bottom and rim to expose clay.

Oh, look at you, so sleek and fine, A black ceramic bowl, how divine. With your white interior, such a sight, A true masterpiece, in black and white.
You sit there, thinking you’re so grand, A bowl that’s made by a master hand. But let’s be real, you’re just a dish, A vessel for soup, or maybe fish.
Your contrast is so “avant-garde,” A design that’s trying way too hard. But in the end, you’re just a bowl, A humble piece, with a lofty goal.
